After 2 wonderful weeks in South Africa I had to say goodbye to my host family, but before we left in the early afternoon, they took me to a market where one could have a look at a variety of things and of course some food and drinks! There was also a competition, which farmer grew the biggest pumpkin that year! The heaviest one was about 500 kg!!!
Today was the last trip organized by school! We went for a boat trip in the Harbour and then we had some time to do some last souvenir shopping. In the afternoon, Anri took me to the biggest shopping mall where we had heaps of fun. There we could relax, go swimming in the freezing water or play some ball games! Even though the water was freezing cold, we went for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean! It was just amazing and heaps of fun. After that they took me to a lion and tiger parc and for lunch we went to the Fairview restaurant, which has delicious bread and cheese!
